Michigan Vascular Center is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified vascular surgeon, with formal training/experience in open vascular and endovascular techniques. Established in 1963, MVC is a growing 100% vascular surgery group practice with 90 employees, a 55-year established referral base, and includes the following:

  • 8 Board Certified Vascular Surgeons
  • 6 Certified Advanced Practitioners
  • ACGME accredited Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program (3 fellows per year)
  • Performance of a wide variety of procedures including EVAR, TEVAR, CAS, TCAR, peripheral arterial and venous revascularization, open AAA repair, complex abdominal procedures and hemodialysis creation and maintenance
  • More than 5,000 endovascular and open vascular procedures performed annually
  • Formal open operative mentoring for recent graduating vascular trainees
  • Privileges at 3 hospitals with state-of-the-art angiography and endovascular suites
  • In-Office Vascular and Hemodialysis Access Centers/Outpatient-based Laboratories at 2 locations (since 2005)
  • In-office Vein Solutions venous treatment center (since 2003)
  • 5 outpatient office locations accredited by AAAHC
  • In-office accredited noninvasive vascular laboratory
  • In-office ABC accredited prosthetic mobility center with certified prosthetist
  • Nationally recognized Vascular Research Center with over 74 clinical trials and 15 currently active; Opportunity to serve as PI for industry clinical trials
  • Call coverage is 1 in 5 during 1st 18 months, then decrease to 1 in 6
  • 4 out of every 5 weekends completely free of clinical responsibilities

FULL-TIME Vascular Technologist opportunity in a busy, private practice vascular surgery office in Flint & Saginaw.

The vascular surgeons at MVC are leaders in innovative vascular care, first and foremost in vascular health in mid-Michigan for over fifty-five years. Michigan Vascular Access Center provides a full service hemodialysis access center, offering comprehensive vascular service to patients with ESRD. Both diagnostic and surgical treatment for dialysis access are performed right in our office.

Full-time position, Monday – Friday, No Weekends, No Holidays or On-Call.

Requirements:

  • Registered Vascular Technologist
  • Adaptable to electronic health records and vascular database

Michigan Vascular Access Center is a division of Michigan Vascular Center. The vascular surgeons at MVC are leaders in innovative vascular care, first and foremost in vascular health in mid-Michigan for over sixty years. Michigan Vascular Access Center provides a full service hemodialysis access center, offering comprehensive vascular service to patients with ESRD. Both diagnostic and surgical treatment for dialysis access are performed right in our office.

Full-time positions, Monday – Friday, First Shift, No Weekends, No Holidays.

Job Requirements
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• Current MI RN license in good standing
• BLS/ACLS

Preferred Skills
• Procedure experience-IV access, sterile technique, EKG monitoring, IV sedation administration
• Physical agility–Ability to lift 50 pounds and able to wear lead during fluoroscopic procedures

Salary
$29.89-31.90 per hour
